Jim leads Cresfort Capital with a hands-on approach to operations, digital marketing, and financial management at all of the portfolio companies. He began his career in commercial lending and credit analysis and moved into a CFO position for 8 years in oilfield services and third party logistics before founding Cresfort Capital. He received his BA from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of North Carolina (Kenan-Flagler). He lives in Birmingham, Alabama, with his wife and two daughters.
